My Love

So, many know, but I'm in love with Jason Deuman. *giggles*

But really! I was looking at some pictures this morning from when we were 16 & 17 and in high school not realizing what our future would hold. We knew we loved each other, yes that young, but really didn't know what that meant. We dated through high school and then through our entire college years before getting married. I remember a point in college we were both so stressed out, he was a Sr. and I was a Jr. and we were both way over our heads--him working 2 jobs and school and me full time in my clinicals and school. I remember a talk we had in a car parked somewhere in Bellevue on a random street where we made a decision to get married, and no matter how we felt, that we would stick together. And ever since that day in college no fight, argument, hurt feelings have ever wavered how we love each other. We don't always like each other, but from that moment on we choose to stay together.

I looked at the pictures from when we were so young, then at our pictures now, and I'm more in love now than when i was 16. I looked at a picture from Disney world and i started feeling little butterflies.

The 16 year old in me was in love with this popular Sr class president, talented, funny, and tall boy. Who for some reason was into me too!

This 28 year old in me is in love with a funny, talented, amazing father, incredibly handsome man. I'm in love with the leader of our family. I'm in love with a pastor who leads his family first, then the church. I get butterflies whenever he preaches, sometimes i think it's nerves thinking he's going to talk about me. But in most part, it's because I'm so proud of the man of God he has become. I remember talking about in college when he said he wanted to be a pastor and preach. And to see his dreams being fulfilled, but not by his doing, but by the Grace of God he gets to stand on a platform and preach what he believes and knows with all his being. I am one proud wife!

Who would have known at 16 we would be a powerhouse against the devil together.
So happy God choose him for me.
So happy we choose to seek God first in all life's choices...
