Unplug

I've been feeling a check in my spirit more and more to unplug from the world (phones, laptops, etc). Our family is in a very busy time right now with Jason's school, church, my job situation changing, and Judah starting school. We really need to regroup.

Lately I've been getting so frustrated with Jason and the kids, probably for things that are out of their control. Jason has papers due--he needs to write them. But i keep having this increasing craving for pure uninterrupted family time.  Away from the iPhone, ipad, angry birds, and people. Just a time for our family to regroup and laugh together and make memories.

I'm thankful God gives me those checks in my spirit so i can follow His lead.  Next week we booked a house in Ocean Shores for 2 nights. I'm so excited to get away. Jason will be done with his papers so he'll be laptop free and able to focus time and attention to the family. And I'm going to do my best to focus on the family and forget about all the drama that is happening with my work situation.

I'm looking forward to reading books, cuddles on the couch, walks on the beach, toes in the water, big sand castles, flying kites, eating junk food, puzzles, monopoly, hi-ho-cherry-o, and so much more!

I thank God for my wonderful husband and family. Looking forward to soaking up their attention!!
