Facebook Break

Hi Friends!

Yes i'm taking a FB break. I put a post up and immediately got text messages and a phone call from my husband needing more explanation.

I am fine.

I am better than fine.

I am great!

Really i am.

I often find myself going to facebook when i'm bored, when i should be folding the laundry, when i should be playing with my kids, or when i should be in God's word.

It can be a distraction that is way to easy to access. So i have deleted it from my phone & ipad and won't be checkin it for a few weeks. Just a time to relax, focus on what needs focusing on. I think it shows i'm mature right? haha... that's another subject!

Just taking a little break away from the drama of peoples lives and focusing on me, my family, my friends, and Jesus. Sometimes it's so needed in this fall fast paced to sit back and enjoy all that is around you.

I'm in love with reading my bible. It's taken me almost 30 years to say that, but it's true. And this is a great time to sit back and rest in the arms of Jesus soaking up all the goodness he has for me in his Word that i have so easily ignored the past...well many years honestly.

FB is a time waster for me, maybe it's not for you, but it is for me.  I will continue to blog and such. But if you need to reach me email or call me.
