Blessed
Jason and I were having one of our couch conversations again last night. These usually consist of immense laughter, usually at myself or a word i said totally wrong, and deep heart revelation all in the same sentence. I love when the kids are in bed and we just talk on the couch. Since we were 16 we've always been able to have conversations centered around our true feelings, i hope that never changes.
We talked about how were are entering the 30's, him this year, and me next year, and how thankful we are for where we are in life.
We are truly grateful we found each other so young. We are so grateful for the life God has given us and try everyday with every fiber to serve him with the resources he's given us, even when they seem small.
In 29 years i've done a lot, and am so grateful to God for all the blessing.
As i was folding laundry, alone (yippie!), i felt this overwhelming sense of Joy at where 29 years has brought me.
So grateful to be folding my husbands clothes -- Because for 12 years he has blessed my life with strength and protection. He is a Godly influence to me and my children and i do NOT take that lightly.
So grateful to have a pile of "these clothes are done!" -- Because my children love to play. They love to play hard. They tear there clothes, they grow out of their clothes, they are healthy and happy. How blessed am I.
Sometimes it's hard, in the midst of circumstances, to see God. I have learned, if you ask, are sensitive to his Spirit, and are willing to listen, He speaks.
He speaks loud
He speaks strong
I am forever grateful for the last 29 years, the ups and downs, and pray i am blessed to have more years....
I am blessed to be your Aunt. You amaze me by your deep thoughts and revelations. It may seem that I watch from afar but thank you for letting me see a glimpse of who you are through your writings, pictures, facebook and notes. I am so pleased to see you grow in the Lord in every area of your life. You are such a good friend, mother, sister, daughter, niece, role-model, co-worker, pastor's wife and on the list goes. God is using you in ways that you can't even imagine and I am so blessed to see your open heart to His ways that are higher than your ways. May this year be an incredible experience with God for you like never before. I love you Kathy. Happy Birthday.
