There is so much to say about our trip. I know people really want pictures so here are some pictures from my trip i took with the Creekside Church. It was an amazing experience. God was evident in everything we did and i build friendships with the locals and people on our trip that will last forever. I don't know why i always leave these trips surprised at what God did, but i am. He is so smart. He knew what he wanted and we just needed to listen to accomplish everything. Here is a little glimpse of my trip. My trip really involved just Teri and i doing something random everyday and sometimes with a few other people. More on that later! :)

I adore this woman. |

my fabulous father in law who was amazing on this trip! |
this was our view from our balcony at Casa Isabella |
This was Casa Isabella where we stayed. A crazy contrast to where we worked each day |
This swamp like area was where we started a house build. This "swamp" is where all the neighbors sewer and garbage ends up, and the house another family is receiving is going to be living on top of this. They are only grateful for the land and house. |
the start of the house. Teri's dad Bill and some locals took a boat out to start the floor of the house. The mom Loardes is thrilled to be getting this home, they start the build on Monday. |
Oh sweet 4 year old Justin i was in love with. Probably because my Judah is 4. In his bottle is---Coke!! He has no teeth as you'll see. Coke is cheap, so coke is what they drink. No milk or water as it's to hard to come by. Made my heart sick to see. |
This is the family living space. They have 5 children plus friends over, they have only 1 "kid toy". They are in no way sad that they have no toys. Puts our house full of toys in perspective. |
The 2 boys on the right are brothers. Justin in the middle is having more sugar--a popsicle! They are not missing teeth, if you saw them in person, they're teeth are so decayed they are rotted to the top. It looks incredibly painful. But they don't know any better. |
This is the mom. I gave her my phone number and hope she calls me! She is the sweetest most Jesus loving woman! She is teaching me to cook. This is the kitchen. one stove. No sick, no dishwasher. |

making "baliatas" = Tortilla, beans, cheese, butter. This was lunch everyday. Not so good on the tummy after day 1. But that's another story... |
4 of Lordes children are in this picture. They are precious gems of God's heart!! The tallest girl Marisol (in the white shirt with her hair braided) has type 1 diabetes. Seems fitting the 2 RN's on the trip got to spend the day there. Super fun! |
See the pot in the wood? That is the dishwasher. immediately after they use a dish they wash it and put it away! |
This is Lordes and her family in front of their home. They will have a new home next week, Praise God. |
I love these kids!!

More pictures and stories to come! :)
