With Facebook gone last week i had so much time to get crafty while listening to worship music. It was great. Absolutely fabulous! The creative juices are flowing so watch out! I'm armed with a glue gun and lots of extra glue. I'm unstoppable!

Driving around in the busyness of what Tuesday brings to our family, i was listening to the radio and heard an interview that has had me thinking all day.

The lady said God has reminded her to focus on what is, and not what isn't. She recently lost her son to suicide and in her mourning God has brought her joy in all that he has given to her still. Amazing the attitude this woman had. She said her focus is her family and her life here on earth. God put her here for a reason and she won't spend her days focusing on what is gone or what isn't.

How many days do we waste thinking and focusing on what we dont' have?

Don't have enough money
Don't have a better car
My house is to small
My husband is gone to much
My kids are cranky

Great reminder for me to shift my thinking. God is big. And in his time all things will come if it's his will. I really believe that. But man, what a waste to live our life and be at the end and feel like all we did was complain and wish it was different!

Be glad in what God has given you today. 
Choose Joy today.
Rest in his great love today.
Be thankful today.


I don't want to stand in front of God and have him ask my why i always wanted things different instead of finding the joy in the journey he put me on.
